John is actively raising funds for Hui O Wa'a Kaulua, a Maui voyaging canoe organization that was devastated in the Lahaina fires that claimed Wa’a Mo’olele, a voyaging double hull canoe. Hui O Wa’a Kaulua is looking for support so they can help develop and conduct model educational programs using voyaging to excite and challenge students and their communities.
